Mahjong features different scoring systems, but the core idea remains the same: the more complex your hand, the higher your score! Here’s a breakdown of the basic point structure:

Standard Scoring Rules

🏆 Basic Win – A regular winning hand earns 10 points.
🀄 Pong of Dragons or Winds – Completing a Pong (three identical tiles) of dragon or wind tiles gives 10-20 points, depending on the set.
🎨 Pure Suit Combination – A hand consisting entirely of one suit (e.g., all bamboo or all characters) is highly valuable, awarding 40-80 points.
🤫 Secret Hands – Special hands, such as those made entirely of Pongs, can be worth 50+ points.
🎲 Self-Drawn Win – If you win by drawing your own final tile (instead of claiming a discard), your total score doubles (2x multiplier)!
